  3. Peter Rich says:

I wish to express my sympathy to John’s entire family, but especially to Gary and Jeff, Heidi, Mallory, and Jessica who I have come to know through John and Virginia. John was first and foremost my friend. He was my friend as a golfer, as a gentleman, as a man of high moral character, as a fellow Christian who loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as a man of great integrity, and as a man who loved and cared very much for his wife and family. John always treated me with respect and he was someone whom I learned I could trust, and I could talk to about anything great or small. John had a great sense of humor and a big heart. John was someone I enjoyed talking to and spending time with. I will very much miss my friend John.
